Sofía Lozano
Community Organizer & Mediator

I am a community organizer and a mediator who believes in grassroots driven change.
A Bilingual (Spanish-English) mission- driven leader with over a decade of experience advancing education equity, leading grassroots movements, and designing programs that serve and empower historically marginalized communities. My work is grounded in restorative justice, relationship-building, and community organizing—with a strong record of leading regional campaigns, securing multimillion-dollar investments for underserved students, and building lasting coalitions with parents, educators, and public officials.
I bring deep experience in program management, staff development, and cross-sector collaboration, having led initiatives in school reform, family mediation, reentry support for youth, and culturally responsive leadership development. My approach combines political strategy with empathy-centered training, enabling volunteers, educators, and organizers to step into transformative leadership.
Art, creativity, and dialogue are at the heart of my proposals for collective cohesion, problem solving and growth.
If you're looking for someone who leads with heart and strategy—whether to scale impact, launch a new initiative, or build stronger community ties—I’d love to connect.
